Traveling Thursday!

So I want to start doing a post every Thursday about traveling!
Here's to the first post!
Africa! Today Africa is on my mind because I have a close friend that left this morning to go on a Medical/Mission/Learning trip with a group of people to Africa. The main reason I want to go to Africa is the animals. I want to go on a safari so bad. It would be such a great experience to get to see the animals in their true habitat. Also, you get to see them with out a cage around them. So yes, it's a lot more dangerous but how awesome would it be. Enjoy some animal pictures!!

Not only would Africa be amazing because of the safari experience but just to go and get to be in a completely different environment and culture experiencing life in a new way. I feel like a trip like this can really give anyone a new, profound outlook on life. This trip can really broaden your appreciation for nature!

On Another Note

Dear Negative People,
You really really really irritate me!
You never see all the good that can come out of a situation
when it is not how you want it to be.
Please work on this, it's not good for our relationship!
Thanks!

Just Go With It

I never thought I'd say this but... We've pushed our date back to April 28th, 2012.
It's sad yes, now I have to wait longer to be married to the man of my dreams, but when life throws you curve balls you just have to figure out how to catch them.
We are going to be so swamped with everything next year and will be soo stressed. We want to be sure that when we get married we have time to work and provide for each other like we should and also we want to be sure we have enough time to devote to just each other. Don't get me wrong the decision stinks but it really is what is best for us. :)

Brett "Shrek" Grelle

I know I haven't written in a while but life has just been beyond busy.

I have been wanting to share this with everyone because it is just so awesome to me. I have a new hero! It is on of my brothers Brett. He has so much will power and strength if I was blessed with half of that I would be set for life. He has always been a hard worker and has always sought out excellence. But just recently he has done something that has just blown me away.
A few months a go he joined the wrestling team, wrestling at 215. This was right after football where he was weighing in at 225. His football coaches said wrestling would be a good help for his reaction time. So he joined the team. He was surprisingly really good. But Brett made the choice to wrestle 189. People probably thought yeah right, maybe next year Brett. But he was determined!
I left home Jan 7th to head back to school and just the day before he weighed 215 and wrestled the heavyweight (weighing in +215) from the Seckman team, and TOTALLY dominated, btw.
About 2 1/2 to 3 weeks later Brett went to school on the day of a meet and weighed in .4 over. So what's so significant about this day and that weight? Wrestlers always come in weighing heavy... Well Brett was .4 over for the 189 category. In just that short amount of time Brett lost a total of 36 pounds.
The awesomeness of this accomplishment speaks for it self. It really spoke to me and really made me question how strong my desire to accomplish my goals are.
If a 15 year old, freshman in high school can make a goal, stick to it, achieve it, and dominate at this level why can't everyone else achieve the goals they have set for themselves?

I love my Brother! He's my hero!

Getting it done :)

My winter break has come to an end, tomorrow I shall return to the great campus of Oklahoma Christian, where I will become a very very very busy bee! Juggling school, work, cheer, club activities and wedding planning, oh and a life of some sort. It will be a hectic semester to say the least. But a great one!

This break has been very successful. My fiance and I have set a date, booked a photographer, picked a venue, got all the attire for the wedding party and much more. We were go go go the whole break but it has been worth it. We are at just the right place to be heading back to school and finishing up the details of the wedding from afar.

Bring on Semester 4!!!!
